Made in Brighton Market Day 2

Today was day 2 of the Made in Brighton and it was another sunny, yet very windy day! Thanks to those who came along and for everyones kind words about my new jewellery range. The earrings and cat theme certainly seem popular and it was great to get some feedback on my designs. I hope to launch it fully soon and will also finally be setting up an etsy shop!

The Fairy Tale Fair

If you haven’t heard about The Fairy Tale Fair yet, where have you been?!…

Fall down the rabbit hole and explore this whimsical craft fair I am organising in Brighton on Saturday 18th August 2012 (10.30-5.15pm).

About the fair:
The fair will comprise of 20-25 stalls selling a range of handmade crafts. These include jewellery, knitted items, cute characters, cushions, cards, prints, candles, children’s clothes, accessories, vintage style items, hair pieces, bags, decorations, beads and much more. There will also be face painting, beauty, balloon modelling, candy floss and Alice in Wonderland themed cakes with tea and coffee served on vintage china.

Entry is also free so why not come along for a great day out for all the family! The fair will be located in St Thomas More’s hall on the corner of Braybon and Carden Avenues in Brighton. For full details see The Fairy Tale Fair blog- Click Here.

Patcham Infants School Summer Fair

I will be at the Patcham Infants School Summer Fair tomorrow from 2pm- 5pm. Come along for lots of fun- crafts, jewellery, BBQ, children’s entainment, cakes and more! See map of where the school is here. Lots of stalls inside so you can avoid the rain!

Last Weekend of the Artists Open Houses

This weekend sees the last weekend of the Artists Open Houses in Brighton. I will be at The Cake House, 37 Cleveland Road, Fiveways Brighton, all day tomorrow from 11am. Why not pop along and see me? You can also see my work at Art@73, 73 Stanmer Villas, Brighton (also near Fiveways area). Both houses are open from 11am Saturday and Sunday and are full of wonderful artists! This is your last chance to see local artists work in such a wonderful and unique setting and meet the artists themselves.

New Card Stockist!

I have had an order for my ‘Oh I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside’ Brighton card range from the io Gallery, in Brighton’s lanes! The gallery ordered a few of my cards for Christmas but now will be stocking a bigger range of my cards! The io Gallery is a wonderful gallery of local artists work and is well respected within Brighton. This is how they describe themselves on their website:

‘Established in 1997 io Gallery represents artists across a wide spectrum of practice This is reflected by the eclectic range of art & craft shown. Majority of which is produced by local Brighton artisans.’

St Johns Christmas Fair Sat 3rd Dec!

 Please come along and visit St John’s Christmas fair that I will be part of. Come along and support a local charity and artists! All details above, address is StJohn Ambulance, Rear of Churchill House, Hangleton Road BN3 7SG. Hope to see you there!

Also I will be in the Cake House (37 Cleveland Road, Brighton) all day this Sunday, the 4th Dec, if you’d like to come along and say hi. The house is open all weekend 11am-5pm this weekend and next.
