Well the Brighton Open Houses for Christmas 2012 are officially over! It has been a lot of hard work for those involved but all worth it and a wonderful atmosphere in each house. Thanks to Clair of the Cake House (Cleveland Road) and Nick of Art @73 Stanmer Villas for having me again and I hope to be back again in May! Today I was sitting in at the Cake House which was full of festivities, cake, mulled wine and friendly faces, here are some pics of the house…

Thanks to all those who visited during December. We hope lots of you can visit again in May and we look forward to seeing you! We also have some exciting plans for a blog, facebook and twitter for the house- so keep an eye out for these!
This weekend sees the last weekend of the Artists Open Houses in Brighton. I will be at The Cake House, 37 Cleveland Road, Fiveways Brighton, all day tomorrow from 11am. Why not pop along and see me? You can also see my work at Art@73, 73 Stanmer Villas, Brighton (also near Fiveways area). Both houses are open from 11am Saturday and Sunday and are full of wonderful artists! This is your last chance to see local artists work in such a wonderful and unique setting and meet the artists themselves.
See the AOH page for full details. Hope to see you there!
As well as number 73 Stanmer Villas I am part of another artists open house for May 2012, The Cake house (37 Cleveland Road). The house is welcoming, family friendly and full of colour and glitter. There is something for everyone so please pay us a visit!

I am very pleased to announced that I have been accepted into the Makers Boutique craft market! I will have a stall at their monthly market on Saturday the 7th April in New Road, Brighton! Here is what they say about it on their website,
“The Makers Boutique is Brightons best regular Art & Craft Fair, showcasing contemporary Arts and Crafts by Designers and Makers in and around the Brighton area. We have been running Art & Craft Fairs in Brighton since Novmeber 2010, and we are growing with each event. Our vision is to create a bustling atmospheric market that showcases a collective of Brighton Makers, selling quality, unique, truly Hand crafted wares. Providing a wonderful opportunity for shoppers to view latest collections & creative ideas, meet the Maker and become inspired.”
