Well the Brighton Open Houses for Christmas 2012 are officially over! It has been a lot of hard work for those involved but all worth it and a wonderful atmosphere in each house. Thanks to Clair of the Cake House (Cleveland Road) and Nick of Art @73 Stanmer Villas for having me again and I hope to be back again in May! Today I was sitting in at the Cake House which was full of festivities, cake, mulled wine and friendly faces, here are some pics of the house…

Here are some photos of my laser cut brooches, which are available now. They are all hand designed by me and laser cut locally in Brighton. They are then hand finished. They are made from acrylic or wood and available in various designs including Buddy the Cat, Hayley the Horse and Rosie the Robin.
These brooches are available now and will be on sale next Saturday the 8th December at Craftaganza (Duke Street, central Brighton). Some designs are also available at both artists houses I am part of, and also on Saturday the 15th December at Belle’s Christmas Market, The Brighton Centre. Well it’s nearly that time again, and the Brighton Christmas Open Houses open this weekend from Sat 1st December! I will be part of two houses again for Christmas 2012- they are The Cake House (37 Cleveland Road, Brighton) and Art @ number 73 (Stanmer Villas, Brighton). Both near Fiveways area and have free parking outside!
Here is the flyer for The Cake House- as those of you who have already visited will know it is one not to be missed. Famous for its quirky rainbow stairs and beautiful yummy cake Clair Letton’s house is full of festive crafty creations and a warm welcome! Come along and find jewelley, mixed media paintings, cushions, kids clothes, accessories, hair pieces, cotton bags, greeting cards, stockings, lampshades, bags and much more!

The organisers Sam and Nigel are lovely people and we even got a little present and personalised bunting! There were lots of lovely stall holders and I also launched my new winter jewellery range which I got some nice comments about!

This is the first Brighton Craft Alliance and is is set to be a great craft fair with lots of lovely stall holders. Why not pop along and see for yourself. Find us at The Brunswick, 1 Holland Road, Hove from 12-5pm.
I will be selling my new jewellery range, including Oli the owl for Halloween and introducing my winter range all set for Christmas. I will also be selling greeting cards (including Christmas cards), pocket mirrors, cotton bags, badges and more!

Today was day 2 of the Made in Brighton and it was another sunny, yet very windy day! Thanks to those who came along and for everyones kind words about my new jewellery range. The earrings and cat theme certainly seem popular and it was great to get some feedback on my designs. I hope to launch it fully soon and will also finally be setting up an etsy shop!

This weekend- Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th July sees the Made in Brighton Market come to Brighton Marina after such a popular year last year. There will be lots of stalls with a range of crafts, jewellery, food, music, gifts and more.
I will have a stall there which I am very excited about! I will also be launching my jewellery range which I hope people will like! It features acrylic and wooden jewellery. See some sneak peaks of the jewellery below… If you would like to pop along to the Marina for a lovely sunny day out the market is open 11am-5pm all weekend. Hope to see you there!

Fall down the rabbit hole and explore this whimsical craft fair I am organising in Brighton on Saturday 18th August 2012 (10.30-5.15pm).
About the fair:
The fair will comprise of 20-25 stalls selling a range of handmade crafts. These include jewellery, knitted items, cute characters, cushions, cards, prints, candles, children’s clothes, accessories, vintage style items, hair pieces, bags, decorations, beads and much more. There will also be face painting, beauty, balloon modelling, candy floss and Alice in Wonderland themed cakes with tea and coffee served on vintage china.

I am pleased to announce I will be part of the Brighton Makers Market on Saturday 28th AND Sunday 29th July at Brighton Marina. The market will be open 11am-5pm both days and will be full of wonderful stuff all made by local Brighton Makers. There will be stalls selling handmade crafts, jewellery, design led gifts, ceramics, health and well-being, stationary, food and drink and more! There will also be live music and demonstrations.
The Made in Brighton market is in association with The Laughing Dog Gallery and is back for a second year after such a successful first year.
I am looking forward to being part of the market, and will be selling a range of cotton bags, greeting cards, pocket mirrors, badges, gifts, prints and more. I will also be launching my jewellery range which I am currently working on.
Lets hope the sun shines. Come along for lots of fun!
