Well the Brighton Open Houses for Christmas 2012 are officially over! It has been a lot of hard work for those involved but all worth it and a wonderful atmosphere in each house. Thanks to Clair of the Cake House (Cleveland Road) and Nick of Art @73 Stanmer Villas for having me again and I hope to be back again in May! Today I was sitting in at the Cake House which was full of festivities, cake, mulled wine and friendly faces, here are some pics of the house…
Christmas tree with all handmade decorations for sale!
Thanks to all those who visited during December. We hope lots of you can visit again in May and we look forward to seeing you! We also have some exciting plans for a blog, facebook and twitter for the house- so keep an eye out for these!
What do you all think of this? I was asked by the lovely Ilona Drew, of I Drew This, to take part in her flick ‘n’ mix blog- where three illustrators take part to create the head, body and legs then Ilona puts them together and we see what weird and wonderful creations we get. This weeks theme is under the sea and this is what we got….
Taking part also this week was Ilona (tail) herself and Nicky Ovitt (head). I created the body. I think this is a fab idea for a blog and am proud to of been asked to be part of it!
Well this time last week it was a lovely sunny Saturday and we were busy setting up The Fairy Tale Fair! If you haven’t already seen here are a few pics of my stall at the fair. Also see the full gallery of photos on The Fairy Tale Fair Gallery. All photos taken by JenniWren Photography.
I hope you enjoyed The Fairy Tale Fair, and I had a lot of fun organising it! We are planning another one for November which will be our Christmas fair- so keep an eye out for this!
The Fairy Tale Fair would love to make 1,000 Twitter followers before the day of the fair and to help them get there I am giving away one of my special edition ‘Buddy the Cat’ necklaces! The necklace is hand designed by me, then laser cut in mirror. It has an 18″ silver plated chain and comes complete in a purple velvet pouch!
