I was hoping to visit but unfortunately I just don’t have time at the moment (busy planning The Fairy Tale Fair), I am planning on visiting next year and hopefully exhibiting one day!
Well the Makers Boutique is over for this month and it was certainly a busy one! The food festival in New Road helped bring in the crowds and the rain stayed way-hoorah! Thanks to those who came, there were some lovely things from lovely local people! Pics will be up soon, so keep a look out! Hope you all have a Happy Easter!
I have had an order for my ‘Oh I Do Like to be Beside the Seaside’ Brighton card range from the io Gallery, in Brighton’s lanes! The gallery ordered a few of my cards for Christmas but now will be stocking a bigger range of my cards! The io Gallery is a wonderful gallery of local artists work and is well respected within Brighton. This is how they describe themselves on their website:
‘Established in 1997 io Gallery represents artists across a wide spectrum of practice This is reflected by the eclectic range of art & craft shown. Majority of which is produced by local Brighton artisans.’
Look out for my new range in the gallery from this weekend!
Find the gallery at:
io Gallery Brighton, 39 Sydney street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 4EP.
My new designs of pocket mirrors and badges have arrived are were available at Craftaganza yesterday. They will also be available at Makers Boutique (New Road, Brighton) on April 7th and the artists houses in May (see events page for details).
I am very pleased to announced that I have been accepted into the Makers Boutique craft market! I will have a stall at their monthly market on Saturday the 7th April in New Road, Brighton! Here is what they say about it on their website,
“The Makers Boutique is Brightons best regular Art & Craft Fair, showcasing contemporary Arts and Crafts by Designers and Makers in and around the Brighton area. We have been running Art & Craft Fairs in Brighton since Novmeber 2010, and we are growing with each event. Our vision is to create a bustling atmospheric market that showcases a collective of Brighton Makers, selling quality, unique, truly Hand crafted wares.
